Reading

A total of 201,056 minutes have been recorded towards the reading goal. Mrs. Kelly & Mrs. Engel will spend time on the rooftop of Hawthorne reading when weather is more predictable. Probably coming in April. Great job Hawthorne staff and students on reaching the reading goal!

Day at Hawthorne

No matter if it is waiting for a ride home, learning how a hospital works, earning
a medal for meeting your reading goal or a special night at a Hockey game,
Hawthorne students are having fun growing and learning.

Camp Invention

Camp Invention inspires creativity and inventive thinking during the weeklong summer program. Led by HPS teachers, elementary school children will be immersed into fun-filled, exciting, activities that reinvent summer fun. Throughout the week, children work together to solve real-world challenges that prepare them for the 21st century. Whether they are creating an epic, insect-themed pinball machine or dismantling broken devices, participants learn new approaches to everyday problems! Discounts are available – register today! 800.968.4332 or visit www.campinvention.org.
Camp Invention will be held June 2nd-6th at Watson Elementary.
